Zion Williamson Prepping Best Way to Pull Hamstring for Debut

David Griffin, Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations for the New Orleans Pelicans, announced that the team is eyeing a January 22 debut for Zion Williamson, the first overall draft pick in 2019. Zion tells The Second String that he’s spending the last few days before his debut trying to figure out the best way to pull his hamstring during his first NBA game. Duke Upset by Stephen F. Austin, Showing They Can Still Disappoint Without Reddish, Barrett and Zion

If on any other day, someone told you that a group of lumberjacks surprised everyone on Duke’s court, you’d probably wonder how the hell that person got into your apartment and call security. Today, however, that group of Lumberjacks is Stephen F. Austin University, who upset the Blue Devils in overtime to hand Duke its first non-conference loss at home since 2000. This was an incredible showing for the Blue Devils, who proved they could still play down to a lower caliber of competition without Cam Reddish, R.J. Barrett and Zion Williamson.

To Show Dedication to New Team, Zion Turns into Real Pelican

After the first pick was announced at Barclays Center in New York, what many fans suspected and analysts guaranteed became a reality: Zion Williamson became a New Orleans Pelican.
