Luis Severino Out for Year Tommy John Surgery, Still Projected as No. 2 Starter for Yankees

The New York Yankees are faced with a serious setback in their quest for a 28th World Series championship, as starting pitcher Luis Severino will undergo Tommy John surgery, which will sideline the fireballer for the entirety of the 2020 season. Devin Booker Finally Gets All-Star Nod Through Hard Work, Bashing in Damian Lillard’s Knee Caps

Coach on Joel Embiid’s Surgery: ‘It’ll Be The Most Consistent Two Weeks of His Season’

The Philadelphia 76ers were dealt a blow on Thursday as they were informed that their center Joel Embiid will undergo surgery on a torn radial collateral ligament in his finger, which will force him to miss one to two weeks of play. When asked to comment, 76ers head coach Brett Brown told The Second String that it will be the most consistent one to two weeks of play Embiid will have all season.

Keanu Neal Penalized for Unsportsmanlike Achilles Injury

Keanu Neal’s 2019 season was tragically cut short on Sunday after he suffered a painful, non-contact Achilles injury during the second quarter of the 24-27 loss against the Indianapolis Colts.
