After an impressive four games, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew has become one of the most exciting players to watch in the league this year. A classic underdog story, the Washington State alum was taken in the sixth round, and was only given a chance to start due to Nick Foles’ injury in week one. Such a start has conjured comparisons with one of the game’s all-time greats: Tom Brady.

Patriots Extend Tom Brady Through 2050

On his 42nd birthday, the New England Patriots extended Tom Brady through the 2050 season, giving the franchise quarterback the longest contract in sports history. While uncommon to see deals longer than 20 years, especially in the NFL where careers are notably short, the Patriots believe that by signing the signal caller until his age-73 season they may capture the majority of his prime.
