Another setback arose for the now-retired All-Star shortstop Troy Tulowtizki on Sunday, as he re-tore his ACL on his first day as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Texas Longhorns. According to sources on site, the injury occurred while Tulowitzki was hitting grounders during an infield practice.

Troy Tulowitzki Tears UCL While Skipping Rocks in the Hudson River; Requires Tommy John Surgery

Just five games into his tenure with the New York Yankees, team doctors announced that former All-Star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki will be sidelined for the remainder of the regular season after tearing his ulnar cruciate ligament (UCL) while skipping rocks in the Hudson river.
